
As I have mentioned before, my husband and I like to drink smoothies a lot for dessert. This is our favorite smoothie and we make it all of the time. It started out innocently enough when I found a healthy recipe for Peanut Butter Banana smoothies. I don't even remember where I found that original recipe. However, I can't seem to leave well enough alone and had to change it.
For the first while that we had the smoothie, every time we had it we would add something new, until we had this delicious smoothie. This is the best smoothie I have ever had, and that is saying a lot! While not really healthy anymore, it is so delicious and easy to make.
While the combination of the fruit with the coffee, chocolate, and peanut butter may seem odd, every ingredient adds to the flavor combination and makes the great taste of this smoothie. My favorite part is the little bit of Hershey bar pieces that are in the smoothie, so there is a little bit of chocolate in each sip. You will be missing out if you don't try this delicious smoothie!!

Peanut Butter Mocha Strawberry Banana Smoothie
1 banana
1/2 teaspoon instant coffee
1/2 cup water
1/2 cup soy milk (can substitute regular milk)
2 tablespoons peanut butter
1 tablespoon honey
1 tablespoon chocolate syrup
1/4 cup sugar
3 pieces of a Hershey's Bar
5 frozen strawberries
12 ice cubes
1. In a bowl mix the instant coffee and the water together. Then add in the soy milk and mix. Add that combination to the blender.
2. Add all the other ingredients into the blender and blend for about a minute or until combined. This makes 2 large smoothies or 4 smaller smoothies.
