One of my favorite things about fall is apple cider.  My husband and I get really excited when we see the first             time the store has apple cider, its a sign to us that fall is here.  We go to an apple festival every fall where they make fresh apple cider, which is one of my favorite parts of the fall.   I decided to make apple cider cookies as a great fall treat.
These cookies were really easy to make and tasted delicious.  They tasted just like apple cider!  I made them using a sugar cookie mix and added some apple cider drink mix.  You can also use your favorite sugar cookie recipe instead of using the sugar cookie mix.  These cookies were really good with caramel on top.  So grab a glass of apple cider and enjoy one of these cookies!

Apple Cider Cookies
1 pouch (17.5 ounces) sugar cookie mix1/2 cup butter, softened1 tablespoon water1 egg2 tablespoons of apple cider powdered drink mixCaramel sauce
1.  Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
2.  Mix all the ingredients together in a large bowl.  Roll the dough into rounded teaspoonfuls and place on an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake for 8-10 minutes or until golden brown.  Cool the cookies then drizzle caramel sauce on top.
*If using your favorite sugar cookie recipe, just add the apple cider powdered drink mix and top with caramel sauce when done.
