Have you ever tried Chocolate Covered Caramels topped with Sea Salt? They are so good. I kept seeing caramel and sea salt combinations on blogs but never tried them. When we were at the mall one day we went into the chocolate store and they were giving away free samples. My husband and I weren't sure, but we tried them and they were so good.
The flavor was amazing! I love the richness of the dark chocolate, the delicious caramel, and the salty flavor from the sea salt. They taste fantastic together. I decided that I needed a box of this chocolate, but when I looked at the price, I figured I would just try to make it on my own.
I didn't want to make my own caramels, so I would make it easier and use ready made caramels. I dipped the Kraft caramel squares in dark chocolate and topped them with sea salt. These delicious chocolates couldn't be any easier and they are less expensive than the ones in the store. Plus, they taste just as good.
This would be a quick and easy treat to make for your Valentine! I hope you make these the next time you are craving a sweet and salty treat!
